I have 20 years of experience working with children, teens and adults. I use a variety of approaches, including psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma therapy and play therapy for children. I provide a warm and supportive space, and focus on your strengths. I enjoy working with clients who are facing challenges, growing, healing and transforming.
I have worked with a diverse client population, with a special interest in working with women’s issues, LGBTQ clients, and those impacted by trauma. I am passionate about the challenges of exploring how to have a meaningful life, finding happiness, and achieving transformation and growth.
Prior to starting my own practice, I spent 7 years as a counselor in a private high school. I am knowledgeable of the private and public school systems and educational issues. I have worked with teens and their parents around school related issues, such as school anxiety, learning issues, peer relationships and bullying, and transitioning to high school or college. I love working with teens and helping them explore their interests and discover who they are.
